Road surface temperature is a very important factor to undersatnd the road status. 

IRT3 can be used to observe the road surface temperature and enhance efficient raod management and accident prevention. 

IRT3 can measure road surface temperature accurately even in changing weather conditions. 

IRT3 is a non-contact temperature sensor which can measure the runway/road surface temperature accurately and precisely using three IR sensors. 


With the help of an optical filter which blocks visible and near infrared radiation flux,  IRT3 achieves more accurate measurement. And the sensor measures the average temperature within the range of FOV. 

A high temperature heater and/or cooler around the sensor may affect the measurement of IRT3In this case, IRT3 provides accurate measure of runway/road surface temperature by measuring thermal gradient and compensating the measured temperature. 

Thanks to the very short stabilization time, IRT3 realizes accurate measurment in the conditions where the temperature may change rapidly.
